MD meets with President of Madagascar

Tata International Managing Director, Mr Noel N Tata, paid a courtesy visit to the President of Republic of Madagascar on January 28, 2016. Mr Tata met with President Hery Rajaonarimampianina at the Iavoloha Palace, accompanied by the Indian Ambassador of Madagascar, Mr CB Thapliyal.
The visit was to discuss possible business opportunities for the company to work closely with the local government and participate in the progress of Madagascar. During this visit, Mr Tata also met Minister of Mines & Petroleum, Mr Joeli Valérien Lalaharisaina, for a similar discussion.
Representatives from Tata International businesses and subsidiaries present on the occasion were, Mr Behram Sabawala, Head – Finance and Accounts, Distribution, and CFO, Tata Africa Holdings; Mr Romeo Das, Business Head – Minerals, Africa; and Mr Mouhamadou, Finance and Administrative Head, Mpumalanga Mining Resources SA.
