L&T, Leeboy, Escorts in talks with TIL for Africa foray

Tata International is in talks with infrastructure equipment giants, including Larsen and Toubro (L&T), for possible distribution tie-ups across the African continent.
While the talks with various players are at different stages of discussions, some deals are likely to be firmed up in the coming months.
Mr Len Brand, Head, Distribution and Executive Director, Tata Africa Holdings, said, “We are in an advanced stage of talks with infrastructure equipment manufacturers like L&T, Leeboy and Escorts, among others, for distribution of their products in Africa. Also, we are looking to expand our presence in South-East Asia.”
