Health camp held for Dewas school children

Tata International’s CSR team, Dewas (Madhya Pradesh, India), organised a health camp for the students of the Government school in Amona village on January 13, 2016. The camp was held with the assistance of ESI Health Services, Government of MP, Indore region, under the Swasth Bachhe Swasth Bhavishya Abhiyan. The ESI doctors’ team was led by Dr Narendra Gupta, Dr (Ms) Keshar Katare, Dr Saify and their nursing staff.

Factory Manager Dr CS Katju inaugurated the camp and addressed the students. Dr Katare and Mr Joshi shared a brief talk about daily fitness.

Health checks were conducted for around 600 middle and primary school children. The check-up included a preliminary health check for height and weight, rubella vaccination for girl students, dental checks and free medicine distribution based on doctors’ advice.

Ms Anita Chavhan, Mr Ramanand Pandey, Mr Zabbar Khan and Mr Ghanshyam of the CSR team facilitated the programme. Mr Rakesh Agrawal, Business Head, also extended a vote of thanks towards the effort, and Mr Peeyush Singh expressed thanks to the ESI authorities for their support.
