December 30, 2014

Tata International (TIL), in its endeavour to extend support to communities in which it works, organised the third health camp under the ‘Swasth Bachhe, Swasth Bhavishya’ (Healthy Children, Healthy Future) mission on December 20, 2014, in Binjana Village, Dewas (Madhya Pradesh).

A total of 270 school children availed of general health checks. The health camp also provided the rubella vaccine free to girl students and 107 girls were vaccinated at this camp. As part of its commitment, TIL plans to administer free vaccinations to 5,000 girls in nearby villages over six months. TIL’s CSR team was supported by the team of doctors from ESIS under the leadership Dr Pradip Joshi.

A girl student who had been diagnosed with a visual problem in the second health camp held in November 2014 was also treated successfully.

The activities in nearby villages are organised by the CSR committee of TIL led by Dr CS Katju, Ms Anita Chavan, Mr Dushyant Zargar, Mr Uday Golwalkar, Mr Sanjay Reghe, Mr Jabbar Khan and Mr Ganesh Bordia.
