Health camp conducted for children and women in Dewas

The CSR team of Tata International’s Dewas unit organised a health camp for children and women belonging to economically disadvantaged communities. The camp was held with the assistance of ESI Health Services, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Indore region, under the ‘Swasth Bachhe Swasth Bhavishya’ programme.

Around 255 women and children availed of the free health services, which included rubella vaccinations for girls, women’s health checks, dental checks, and free medicines based on the doctors’ advice. The event was held on February 15, 2016, at the hospital in the Bank Note Press Complex, Dewas.

The ESI doctors’ team was led by Dr Shrivastav, Dr Saify, a child specialist, a gynaecologist and their nursing staff. Mr Sultan Singh Shekhawat, Chairman, Madhya Pradesh Rural and Urban Unorganised Worker Welfare Mandal, inaugurated the camp in the presence of Factory Manager, Dr CS Katju, Mr Velappa, GM-BNP, and Mr Motwani, DGM-BNP. The camp was facilitated by Ms Anita Chavhan, Mr Ramanand Pandey, Mr Ghanshyam, Union Members and the CSR team.
