Dewas team promotes Swachh Bharat Abhiyan with clean-up drive on India’s Republic Day

Tata International’s Finished Leather business team in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh, India marked the country’s 68th Republic Day by organising a green initiative. The day began with a flag hoisting ceremony at the factory compound by the company’s most senior employee Mr Radheyshyam Verma. This was followed by a brief address by Mr Rakesh Agarwal, Global Head, Leather Business, and Dr CS Katju, Factory Manager.
A team of volunteers then proceeded to the banks of the nearby Kshipra river to help clean up the area. The initiative has been undertaken under the aegis of the Indian government’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
