Chennai team begins yoga classes at government school

Tata International’s (TIL) Chennai team (Tamil Nadu, India) has begun yoga classes for the government-run Somangalam Higher Secondary School. The programme was launched on August 21, 2015 in the presence of Mr Atul Nagrath, Business Head, Chennai.
The yoga classes will be held in association with the World Community Service Centre, whose representatives will visit the school every Friday. Students of Classes 8 and 9 will attend the programme, a total of 185 students (101 boys and 84 girls).
The initiative has been undertaken as part of the company’s Affirmative Action programme.
