Cambodia team supports local anti-corruption initiative

March 08, 2016

Tata International’s Cambodia team has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the country’s Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU), promoting ethical practices in business. The ACU’s scope is wide-ranging – from eradicating corruption to enhancing public financial management to improving and promoting governance across the public and private sector.

Senior Minister Orm Yin Tieng, Head of the ACU, spoke in admiration of the Tata group and the Tata Code of Conduct (TCoC), and suggested that the group assist the ACU and other domestic corporations in incorporating and promoting an architecture similar to the TCoC. Prominent chancellors and rectors of universities attended the event.
