Aerosoles unveils Autumn Winter 2015 collection at ISAF 2015, Mumbai

Aerosoles, a world-renowned footwear brand launched in India by Tata International (TIL) in 2014, unveiled its latest collection at the India Shoes and Accessories Forum 2015 in Mumbai this month. The forum exhibition was inaugurated by Mr Jorge Roza De Oliveira, Ambassador of Portugal in India, who also presided over the launch of the new collection. The collection includes ballerinas, casual shoes, boots, sandals and pumps.
Speaking at the inauguration the ambassador said, “India has been a great partner of Portugal in the shoe manufacturing business as it provides tremendous retailing opportunities. Considering Portugal has been at the forefront of the shoe manufacturing industry, owing to its great craftsmanship, reasonable cost of production and other economic factors favouring business, many world-renowned leather manufactures have invested in the country.”
The ambassador also thanked Tata International for showing immense faith by investing in the Portugal shoe industry a few years back.
The event included a panel discussion on Make in India. Mr N Mohan, Head – Leather Products, TIL, also a member of the Core Committee and Task force on Design of the Council of Leather Exports, represented TIL. The participants, industry leaders from the footwear industry, discussed implementation of the Indian Prime Minister’s vision of turning India into a global manufacturing hub.
