TIL participates in Cambodia International Business Summit

Tata International (TIL) participated in the Cambodia International Business Summit, on February 14-15, 2017, at Hotel Intercontinental, Phnom Penh.

The summit hosted a number of presentations and panel discussions, both plenary and sectorial break-out sessions. TIL participated through a panel discussion on agriculture, to discuss the increasing scope in agricultural mechanisation in Cambodia. Mr Kartik Kapur, General Manager (Operations), represented the company and the other panel members included Mr Ty Sokun, Secretary of State, Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Fisheries, and Mr Robert Esposito, Founder, CocoKhmer.

The session aimed at understanding Cambodian agriculture with regard to its opportunities and unique advantages, focusing on investment related to infrastructure, post-harvest mechanisation, regulations and overall success by adopting a multi-stakeholder initiative approach.

The summit was organised by International Business Chamber (Cambodia), a leading international business chamber comprising of more than 120 members. The event offers a direct entry into one of the world’s fastest growing economies and unequivocal access to the key players in a wide range of Cambodian business sectors.
